I'm not a doctor (of medicine, at least). I'm not a dietitian, or a physical therapist, or an expert on lipedema. So why am writing here? It's pretty simple, really.
I have lipedema, and a lot of the resources out there don't work for me. Many have pretty good info, but it''s threaded through with such a thick yarn of fatphobia that it can be hard to parse. It's infuriating and annoying at best, and downright dangerous at worst. So here I am. Like I said, I'm not an expert. Nothing I say here should ever be taken as medical advice. But I do live every day with this condition and can sift through the garbage to find the nuggets of good information inside. I'm not sure precisely how this resource is going to work. It'll probably be a mix of research I find and my own personal experiences. Let's see how it goes.
